Real Estate & Land Use

The real estate practice of DiFrancesco, Bateman, Coley, Yospin, Kunzman, Davis & Lehrer, P.C. is involved in the acquisition, development, financing, leasing and sale of residential, industrial and commercial properties. We are also involved in representing clients in tax appeals and foreclosures. Our real estate clients include developers, lending institutions, landlords, tenants and investors.

A broad spectrum of experience enables us to handle the acquisition, development and syndication of both undeveloped and developed properties. Clients are represented during every stage of a project, including appearances before governmental agencies and boards to obtain the necessary approvals for site plans, subdivisions, variances and environmental permits, as well as prerogative writ actions and appeals. In addition, we are familiar with the various forms of real estate financing.

We provide counsel in the construction of wireless communication facilities, mixed use projects and commercial and residential developments. Most large property acquisitions and developments require sophisticated partnership or corporate planning. In these cases, our attorneys experienced in tax and corporate matters review both the structure and the content of the documentation. Our real estate team also offers its knowledge in the preparation of condominium and cooperative offering documents, including the processing and registration of such documents with the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs. Our environmental attorneys often facilitate real estate development projects to comport with the ever growing concern for the environment and regulatory controls within the State of New Jersey.

We represent clients in the purchase and sale of single and multi-family residences and matters involving zoning and permitted land use questions.
